This blue over blue with white accent '59 clearly shows the soft top cover behind the seats. This one body panel achieves a number of ends. It completes the line of the trunk, rolling down into the interior. By doing so it defines this twin bucket seat design, while integrating the interior into the entirety of the body design. This one design feature also defined the Corvette as a true roadster and sports car. While there are many Motorama show car features to this first series of Corvettes, this singularly defined it as a sunny day dream car. While being so understated as to almost go unnoticed.
