Presented in this episode are the first two chapters of Metal Memory: the mystery of 0718.
This unusual provenance of the sixth 1958 Ferrari TR 250 was written as a first person non-fiction detective novel. This was unlike the Provenances of the time, being feverishly composed to justify the rapid acceleration of valuations these old racers were experiencing. Here I wanted to take the reader along on my eighteen month international journey of discovery. In composition it was more the story of the eight guys who owned 0718, and the impact this TR had on their lives, than merely the chronicle of an old racer.
